Widnes Masons working hard for local and national charities.

During 2009 the Widnes Group of Masons have donated £4,400 to local and national charities. This years total is almost £1,000 higher than the total donated last year. The biggest beneficiaries this year have been Halton Haven Hospice receiving £1,450, Macmillan Nurses receiving £800 and Help for Heroes receiving £700.
Valiant, a local group who run Sport for Disabled Young People, received £250. Other charities who have benefited this year included; Cancer Research, Clare House, Leukaemia Research, R.N.L.I. and Shoe Box Appeal.
