Tony Tallon

The Widnes Group of Chapters joined with Tony Tallon on Tuesday, 17 March 2009 at Widnes Chapter 2819 in celebrating the Golden Jubilee of his membership of the Chapter. The Chapter was joined in its celebrations by Harry E. Ross, Third Provincial Grand Principal, John C. Hutton Asstant to the Provincial Grand Principals and some 60 other Companions.  The Chapter presented Tony with cut glass vase to celebrate the occasion and in addition he received other gifts from the Widnes Group and the Widnes Chapter. Exalted into the Chapter on 17^th March 1959, Tony became 1st Principal in May 1978. Tony has also served the Chapter as its Charity Representative for over twenty years and still continues to do so. He is well known and respected within the Widnes Group as its past Group Chairman and a member of many other Masonic orders that meet at the Hall. Indeed, next year Tony will celebrate 50 years as a member of the Wilbraham Mark Lodge of Mark Masons, he obviously likes parties. A wonderful night was had by all those attending and we wish Tony many more years to enjoy his Freemasonry and we look forward to his 60 year celebration.
